This privacy policy sets out how Aisle uses and protects the information collected through its website. Aisle is committed to ensuring that your privacy is safeguarded. Should we ask you to provide certain information to identify you when using this website, please be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

Unless indicated otherwise, this policy applies only to information collected through Aisle’s website and its related services that expressly adopt, display or link to this policy, and then only to the extent indicated. It does not include the privacy practices of any third-party websites that you may access from our website.

Aisle does not sell customer information to third parties.

Our online store (website) is hosted by Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

Shopify's Privacy Policy.

What information do we collect?

When ordering, registering an account, or otherwise interacting with our website, you may be asked to enter your name, email address, shipping and billing addresses, phone number, credit card information or other details including information relevant to customer surveys or offers to help you with your experience.

We may also collect information that you provide to us about people you know, including the contact information of your friends and family members, when you participate in our referral program.

Information about your device — including your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device — is automatically collected when you visit this website. Additionally, as you browse our online store, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to this website, and information about how you interact with it. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

  • “Cookies'' are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies, and how to disable cookies, visit allaboutcookies.org.
  • “Log files” track actions occurring on this website, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
  • “Web beacons,” “tags,” and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse this website.

When do we collect information?

We may collect information from you when you: browse our website, create a customer account, enter your details on our checkout page, place an order, register to become an affiliate, refer a friend, respond to surveys, interact with our ads and other marketing communications, join our email list, sign up for SMS, contact us, use any of our site features, or otherwise enter information on our site.

How do we use your information?

We may use the information we collect from you to personalize your user experience and allow us to deliver the type of content and product offerings in which you are most interested, to quickly process your transactions, and to communicate with you about your order or account status. We may also share your product reviews, and any photos submitted along with your review, on social media and in marketing emails.

If you opt-in to our email list, we may also send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided. You have the right and ability to unsubscribe from our emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email we send to you.

If you sign up to Aisle’s SMS/text messaging service, we may send recurring SMS/text messages from and on behalf of Aisle CA through your wireless provider to the mobile number you provided. These messages may include updates, alerts, and information (e.g., order updates, account alerts, etc.). Promotional messages may include promotions, specials, and other marketing offers (e.g., cart reminders). You may opt-out of the Service at any time by replying with the single keyword command STOP.

If you invite a friend using the referral widget on our website, your name and email address, as well as the name and email addresses of the friend/s you referred, will be stored in a third-party referral program platform. This information is used for the purpose of communicating the offer details and tracking purchases made as a result of the referral. You have the right and ability to unsubscribe from referral email communications by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of these emails.

Management of our affiliate program is through a third-party affiliate platform. Information you provide at registration, such as your name, email address, and location, is stored on their servers and used for the functioning of the program only. The program’s terms and conditions are posted on its registration page.

From time to time, we may also use your information to contact you for market research purposes. We may contact you by email, phone, fax or mail.

How do we protect visitor information?

We highly value our customer's privacy and do everything we can to protect and secure your information. Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of parties who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential.

If you provide us with your credit card information, that information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with an AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.

Do we use cookies or tracking pixels?

Yes. Cookies and tracking pixels are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer's hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the site's or service provider's systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information.

Cookies allow web applications to respond to you as an individual. The web application can tailor its operations to your needs, likes and dislikes by gathering and remembering information about your preferences. For instance, we use cookies to help us remember and process the items in your shopping cart. They may also be used to help us understand your preferences based on previous or current site activity, which enables us to provide you with improved services.

We also use cookies, including Google Analytics cookies, to help us compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interaction statistics so that we can offer better site experiences and tools in the future.

Tracking pixels are used for the purposes of targeting advertising to you through third party services (like Google, Facebook, or Instagram), which help us reach potential new customers.

You can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies. You do this through your browser settings. Each browser is a little different, so look at your browser's Help menu to learn the correct way to modify your cookies. Please note that if you disable cookies, some features will be disabled that make your site experience more efficient, and some of our services will not function properly.

Because we use Google Analytics for our website statistics, we do want to let you know that there is a browser plug-in you can use that will prevent the recording of your data generated by the Google Analytics cookie (including your IP address). You can download and install the browser plug-in available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

Overall, cookies help us provide you with a better website experience, by enabling us to monitor which pages you find useful and which you do not. A cookie in no way gives us access to your computer or any information about you, other than the data you choose to share with us. We use tracking pixels to help us market to customers who are curious about our products.

Read Shopify's Cookie Policy.
