How do Essential period underwear work?

How do I wash Essential period underwear?

Our period underwear were made to fit into your regular laundry routine. Just rinse the gusset in cool water before washing in the machine with your regular laundry. Hang to dry where possible - it saves energy and prolongs the life of your undies!

How are Essential period underwear different from Boost period underwear?

Essential period underwear are made with the same super-soft, breathable & sustainable fabrics as our Boost underwear, but feature an ultra-thin, all-in-one gusset design that absorbs 4+ tampons worth of fluid. Everything you need—nothing you don’t.

Comfortable and absorbent

Compared to the boost boxer, I love that these have a little less bulk so I feel confident wearing them out and about but still with no fears of leakage. I can wear these all day or overnight on my moderate to light flow days. The fit is very comfortable and secure!

Comfortable

I got these to replace my Knix dream shorts. They are super comfortable, true to size, and so far no leaks, even on my heaviest overnight. I don't know what I would do without leakproof shorts to sleep in during my period, and these definitely did the job, and the fabric is more comfortable than the dream shorts, too. One improvement I would ask for is some protection for the inner thighs.

Great, forget I’m wearing them

I wear these as backup with a menstrual cup and on their own at the end of my period. They are so great, especially at night because of all of the coverage! I appreciate aisle’s commitment to gender inclusivity and making safe, comfortable products. I would recommend and worth trying!! Combined with the cup, makes my period easy enough to deal with. The sizing chart was accurate for me with an XS - hip measurement 36”
