How do Essential period underwear work?

Our specially engineered lining combines super-absorbent Truetex™ technology with a leak-proof lining that absorb 4 tampons worth of fluid.

How do you wash Essential period underwear?

Our period underwear were made to fit into your regular laundry routine. Just rinse the gusset in cool water before washing in the machine with your regular laundry. Hang to dry where possible - it saves energy and prolongs the life of your undies!

How are Essential period underwear different from Boost period underwear?

Essential period underwear are made with the same super-soft, breathable & sustainable fabrics as our Boost underwear, but feature an ultra-thin, all-in-one gusset design that absorbs 4+ tampons worth of fluid. Everything you need—nothing you don’t.

Do I need to wear a pad or tampon with them?

The comfiest period underwear I own

The cotton is everything on these. I don’t get hot and sweaty but they are still absorbent and leak free. Also true to size so a medium was great for me (I’m a size 8 in jeans). Highly recommend.

Works great!

These are great. Totally effective and soft, love the color. The absorbent part is generous in size. My only complaint is that the top elastic waistband is kind of thin, and so it folds over in an awkward way. It’s not a huge deal, but I think a wider top band would help for comfort and smoothness.
