As a kid, I'd see ads for menstrual pads, you know, with the sanitary blue liquid and the white tennis skirts. When I got my period (at AGE 11, thanks universe) the reality was VERY disappointing. It was damn hard as a teen - even if it was cool at the time to tie your sweater around your waist. Even as an adult I deal with occasional leaks and, with a 23-day cycle and 7 days of bleeding, what feels like my entire life is in period mode, where I can only wear certain clothes and do certain activities. Well, no longer. These underwear have saved me. I feel so secure with this as backup for my menstrual cup. Aisle undies are particularly comfortable compared to the competition - I've tried a few. They feel just like my fave cotton bikini undies, but with all the reassurance I've needed for, let's count, the past 23 years. I love them for overnights especially and they're awesome protection for that last day when I think I don't need my menstrual cup anymore but I'm not REALLY sure. They also move and flex well enough to wear while I bike or play sports. A+, wish I had 7 pairs, and someday I will.
