How do Essential period underwear work?

Our specially engineered lining combines super-absorbent Truetex™ technology with a breathable leak-proof lining. Thanks to a double layer of targeted absorbency, Super Hipsters can absorb up to 8 tampons worth of fluid.

Our period underwear were made to fit into your regular laundry routine. Just rinse the gusset in cool water before washing in the machine with your regular laundry. Hang to dry where possible - it saves energy and prolongs the life of your undies!

Super period underwear provide 8+ tampons worth of absorbency and can be worn on their own, without a disposable pad or tampon.

Super period underwear can absorb as much as Boost underwear, without the need for a separate Booster. Super undies are made with the same super-soft, breathable & sustainable fabrics as our Boost underwear, but feature an all-in-one gusset design that absorbs 8+ tampons worth of fluid.
